What is next for the US economy?

The March jobs report show a slowdown in job creation that has been a part of the job recovery in recent months. The number of jobs created for the month of March did register at 120,000 compared with 200,000 plus for December, January, and February, and the unemployment did decrease by .1% to 8.2%. The uncertainties in the US economy are many in numbers including higher gas prices, European debt crisis, and potential conflict in the Middle East over the Iranian nuclear program. The number of jobs created since December including March’s employment do total 858,000 jobs, and this total marks the best four months in hiring in over two years. Many additional factors do play into a weak March jobs report including the warmer winter in the United States that sparked an earlier hiring season than in previous years, and this month was a hiccup in the job recovery.
