We have been using three models to watch the progression of a storm that will initially dive into the Gulf of Mexico before moving into Floridalate Saturday. All three models are in agreement of the driving rain likely pretty much along the eastern seaboard through Monday.Florida RainAs the storm moves through the Gulf of Mexico, it will grab a tremendous amount of moisture from the warm gulf. This usually translates to a rain event for Florida, and this storm is no different as it makes its way across the Sunshine State Saturday evening through Sunday morning. Mark Rubio endorses Romney and the endorsement made breaking news on the Drudge Report and Fox News. The Drudge Report sent announcements leading up to the Mark Rubio endorsement. The first term Florida Senator is a rising Republican icon, and and his endorsement came under speculation of Romney choosing Rubio as the VP Running mate. Mark Rubio's endorsement of Romney holds as much credibility as Kim Kardashian endorsement of a Sunday School class for me to attend. Rubio gives an outstanding endorsement and is denying consideration of the becoming the possible VP nominee. Mark Rubio did not have any political intent in his endorsement, and the endorsement was out of careful consideration of all the candidates. Why did Rubio wait until after the Florida primary to endorse Romney? The endorsement is useless at this point unless political advantage was to be had in this Mark Rubio announcement. Mitt Romney: Unemployment and the Very Poor

Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney did cause a media stir after comments on CNN about "not concerned about the very poor" for they have a "safety net". After Tuesday's big win in Florida, Romney's comments are red flags for the candidate's understanding of the condition of the US economy and unemployment. President Obama's decision to reject the Keystone XL Pipeline was a red flag that common sense and politics do not make nice bedfellows, and Romney's comments play along the same line. The high unemployment numbers are creating a new underclass, and this underclass is part of the new very poor. As Felix Salmon stated in an opinion piece in Reuters, "The problem is that persistent unemployment at or around 10% is unacceptable in the especially with the social safety net being much weaker here than it is in Europe."
