B of A facing angry consumer

Enclosed is an article about a wife’s experience with Bank of America upon the death of her husband to start debt collecting processing on the mortgage. B of A called the day after her husband was declared deceased to inquire about the mortgage payment information. Upon reading the story from Gawker, the one big fat reality stands out about B of A. The fundamental issue of the bank’s problems is the treatment of it’s most important asset, the customer. Google is a great source to bring to awareness of B of A’s actions in foreclosures, internal theft, and debt collection to name a few items. Too Big to Fail is the term by Wall Street for everlasting protection, but Main Street is turning the tide against bad behavior and too big to fail via major struggles over at Bank of America. This bad customer service behavior is not the first for Bank of America. The following are a few examples of bad customer service by Bank of America.

1) Debtor’s Revolt- You Tube Sensation over dispute with B of A over credit card limit reduction and interest rate increase to almost 30%

2) Couple did pay cash for home with no Bank of America mortgage on the property. Couple did receive a foreclosure notice by mistake, and the couple did bring final resolution to the mistake by taking legal actions to repossess Bank of America’s furniture. In conclusion, the current crisis mode at Bank of America is exacerbated in recent months. Do Unto Others , Bank of America may be in a better position if taking advice from the Power Above.
